What is A (H1N1) Flu Virus?

So you came here because you are also asking about "what is A (H1N1) Flu Virus? What does it do and what are the common symptoms and preventive measures that you can take in order to avoid getting infected with it?

Facts About A (H1N1) Flu Virus

We commonly call A (H1N1) Flu Virus before as swine flu virus which is very wrong because by nature, swine flu virus is just one type of strain while the latter is a combination of 2 strains that evolved to form a new strain virus of a subtype H1N1. Although generally, A (H1N1) is also a subtype of influenza virus A we commonly came to know as the common cause of human influenza flu.

Most H1N1 are endemic (seasonal) while the evolved virus, the A (H1N1) Flu Virus is now a globally declared pandemic (gloabal) by the World Health Organization (WHO). A (H1N1) is actually a combination of both the swine flu which is common with pigs and the avian influenza virus which is common with birds.

In was just in June 2009, that WHO declared that flu due to a new strain of swine-origin H1N1 was responsible for the 2009 flu pandemic. This strain is commonly called "swine flu" but is now finally called as A (H1N1) Virus.

As of now, there is no confirmed antivirus yet for this type of mutated influenza virus but there is a video on A (H1N1) Virus vaccine possible to be out soon. I saw in the Philippines that this video tells that there is a near antidote to this disease now being made and will soon be available for purchase.
